It has been so long since my last post i dont know where to start!! ....well lets just say that life got more interesting in march with the arrival of Elijah Drake!! He is such an adorable baby and has such a good manner about him!! Kaelynn turned 4 in April and Lane will be 3 in November....can someone please tell me where my babies went??!! it seems that im gonna have to start "putting bricks on their heads" like my mother always said to us....hmm now i know why!
Newest thing to this family is the introduction of extra activities....like Kaelynn will start taking creative movt classes with the civic ballet next monday. She is sooo excited and i can barely keep her leotard away from her!! We were looking into putting Lane in the the very early classes of Tae Kwon Do (like father like son) but have decided that he is just a little to young to fully reep the benefits. So just as any good sister would do....Kaelynn stepped up to the plate....and volunteered to take his place...lol... We go tomorrow to the ATA place to see about putting her in with Brian since he has decided to go back!! It was wonderful to see him in his gee once again tonight...and even though he wont admit it...i know he is super excited.
The next undertaking this fall is starting some sort of regimine of homeschooling. I know by january im really going to have to have a plan together so that i can start getting kaelynn ready for the fall. i cant believe this time next year i will have a kindergartner!!! wow just typing that word almost brings me to tears!! but the good (and scary) thing is hopefully i will be able to do this homeschool thing and i wont drop her off and not see her for 8 hrs!! even though being the social butterfly that she is i know she wants to "go to school" sooo bad, but i think once we join the homeschool association and she makes friends there, and she has ballet class and karate...if that holds...i think it will all be ok.
This post isnt anywhere near long enough, but im going to try to be better about posting, so ill leave it at that for right now. since it is my time of the night.....late, and im tired!! lol
